About the Role

As an Accountant under our Business Services Group, you will be responsible to maintain proper ledgers, registers, accounts, journals as well as similar financial records. In this role, you will regularly collaborate with members of Brookfield’s Business Services Group Accounting team and support the Senior Accountant. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process for a portfolio of companies; Determine and prepare timely and accurate general journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting;
    Analyze and prepare general ledger accounting reconciliations;
    Investigation/analysis of intercompany balances/chargeback issues;
    Prepare balance sheet and income statement variance analyses;
    Analyze and prepare financial reporting packages
