Position Summary
The Accessioner I receives, verifies, and processes laboratory specimens to support accurate clinical testing and patient care. This role ensures proper specimen handling, documentation, and data entry while maintaining laboratory quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
+ Receive and accession blood, urine, and tissue specimens.
+ Verify specimen identification and documentation for accuracy.
+ Enter and maintain patient and specimen data in LIMS.
+ Prepare and organize samples for testing.
+ Perform quality checks and support regulatory compliance.
+ Follow laboratory safety and specimen-handling procedures.
