The Department of Horticultural Sciences, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University, invites applications for one full-time, Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure) faculty position with a 9-month academic appointment beginning August 3, 2026. Applicants will be considered for the faculty title Instructional Assistant Professor or Lecturer, depending on qualifications.
The Department of Horticultural Sciences in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University is one of the only departments in the nation to offer a Bachelor of Arts in Horticulture, which focuses on plant-human interactions, socio-horticulture, floral art and design, interior scaping, entrepreneurship, with plans to expand offerings in horticulture therapy. The department is also leading the in collaboration with the School of Public Health and is home to the Benz School of Floral Design that offers continuing education to the public.
