Academic Learning Advisor - Māori

We are seeking a Part-Time (0.3 FTE) Permanent Academic Learning Advisor – Māori to provide evidence-based academic learning support, advice, and guidance to ākonga across all levels and disciplines. This role enhances learner confidence, competence, and independence while supporting academic success, retention, and achievement.

The role is based in Tairāwhiti and reporting to the Student Support Services Manager , you will:

• Provide academic learning support to ākonga in both English and Te Reo Māori.
• Deliver workshops and develop resources that strengthen academic skills and learner success.
• Support ākonga with study skills, academic writing, literacy, numeracy, digital literacy, referencing, and research skills.
• Work collaboratively with academic and support teams to provide a holistic learner experience.
