Academic Coordinator

The Department of Chemistry and Materials Science at Aalto University is seeking a fixed‑term, three‑year Academic Coordinator to support the strategic objectives of the department.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the preparation of major, strategic funding applications together with professors.
• Provide internal coordination within Aalto, build networks with stakeholders, and offer practical assistance for project proposals to funding bodies such as Business Finland and the Research Council of Finland.
• Coordinate steering and working groups for large projects and provide further administrative support as required by the department and the school.
• Support professors by advancing strategic networking with key stakeholders and existing ecosystems.
• Act as a general coordinator supporting the research activities of the department and its leadership.
