Overview
Reporting to the Associate Dean and working closely with students, Academic Coordinators are professors who, in addition to their teaching responsibilities, provide academic leadership in the coordination of courses and/or programs to ensure curriculum quality, relevance and currency, a positive learning experience for students, and effective communications amongst colleagues to achieve the College’s strategic and operational goals. Recognizing that academic coordination is complex and diverse depending on the courses/program, typical duties are outlined in AOP 213 (see Appendix A).
