ABATTOIR OPERATIONS MANAGER

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Agriculture, Food Science, Meat Technology, Operations Management or Related Field
  • Minimum 5 Years' experience in Abattoir, Meat Processing or Food Production
  • Strong knowledge of Meat Processing, Carcass Utilization & Yield Management
  • Experience with Stock Control Systems & Production Software
  • Sound knowledge of HACCP & Food Safety Standard

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day Operations of the Abattoir
  • Supervise & Train Staff
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations
  • Optimize Production Processes & efficiency
  • Maintain Quality Control Standards
  • Implement and oversee Maintenance Schedules
