5 Ton Truck Driver

Position Overview

Mainland Cold Distribution is looking for experienced 5-ton truck drivers for deliveries in Victoria and central Vancouver Island. The position is for delivery of food products and merchandising the product at customer locations. We require someone who can be professional and courteous with our customers.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience driving a 5-ton truck and no major driving infractions
• A reliable, flexible, and respectful team-player who takes pride in their work
• Ability to communicate with dispatchers and customers in a professional manner
• Class 5 license, air brake certification and a clean driver’s abstract (Class 3 is an asset)
• Knowledge of Victoria and Central Vancouver Island area is an asset
• Flexibility for scheduling – hours vary by day
• Product delivery and merchandising required
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs
