Job Description
YACHT INFORMATION:
A 40m yacht is looking for an experienced Chef to join their onboard team.
Full-time crew of 5 (chef will be 6th crew) – all liveaboard.
Guest trips locally with Owner/one or two PA’s, plus additional guests between 1-8 pax.
Gold Coast based, Whitsundays from September – future plans for New Zealand/South Pacific for 2027.
Great crew with longevity and loyalty to owner.
MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER WITH THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Previous experience as a Chef working onboard yachts over 40m
- Be confident in all aspects of galley
- Hands-on, can-do attitude, high level of hygiene & energy
- Enjoys cooking healthy and nutritious meals for guests & crew.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- STCW or AMSA CoST and Seafarers Medical
- Chef/cooking certification preferred
