Robert Half Technology are assisting a Aerospace organisation to recruit a 3rd Line Engineer on an initial 6 month contract basis. Bedford Based

Role

  • The 3rd Line Engineeer will be responsible for the administration and 3rd line support of Networks
  • Administration and 3rd line support of Servers
  • Investigating and addressing technology risks and issues on the network
  • Maintaining and upgrading systems to remain in compliance against policy
  • Support of backend applications
  • Server and communication room remediation including cabling, UPS device installation/configuration.
  • Patching and logging data cabling
  • Current state analysis of the IT Systems
  • Designing, Documenting, Implementation and manage improvements, such as network segmentation, sever builds, MFA, VPN improvements, additional network security
