2D Motion Editor

We are building a long-form YouTube channel focused on structured, narrative-driven storytelling.
We are not looking for a standard YouTube automation editor.
We are looking for a 2D motion-driven editor who can transform voice-over scripts into visually dynamic, immersive storytelling pieces.
Videos are 12–15 minutes.
This role requires motion design thinking — not just cutting stock clips together.
What We're Looking For
An editor who can:
Create 2D animated sequences to visualize abstract concepts
Use motion graphics to enhance storytelling
Design minimal but impactful animated level transitions
Create subtle kinetic typography where appropriate
Build tension through visual pacing and composition
Combine motion design with cinematic timing
Think in scenes, not just clips
You should be comfortable working in:
After Effects
Illustrator (basic asset creation)
Premiere Pro (or similar)
Basic compositing
Visual Style Direction
