Job Description

As UX Designer / Researcher, you will be embedded within project teams to deliver user-centred insight and design practice. This work focuses on internal user experiences but must remain meaningful to the organisation’s wider customer outcomes. You will help validate usability, support accessibility, and contribute to building a brand-new UCD function.

📍 Location: Hybrid Working, Central Scotland

What you’ll do

  • Conduct user research to understand internal user needs and pain points
  • Carry out usability testing to validate new or existing solutions
  • Ensure accessibility standards are met across project deliverables
  • Produce UCD artefacts such as user journeys, service maps, personas, or insights
  • Support internal teams and vendors responsible for UI component delivery
