THE OPPORTUNITY

Position Details: Long Term Occasional Assignment – Grade 3/4 – 1.0 FTE

Location: Ross R. MacKay Public School

Rate of Pay: $52,974.00 - $119,975.00 per annum; salary grid rate is based on QECO rating and teaching experience; annual salary is prorated based on FTE; grid rate effective September 1, 2026

Required Qualifications: Primary, Junior Spec Ed Part 1 is an asset.

Effective Date: September 2, 2026 - June 24, 2027

Reporting to the Principal of the assigned school. The Long-Term Occasional Teacher is responsible for providing continuous, high-quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting student achievement and well-being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies.
