2617 – Software Engineer – Backend/Platform

Our client is an exciting AI startup in high growth, and they have an immediate need for a Software Engineer – Backend/Platform. This role will own the services, the isolation model, and the governance posture that the world’s largest brands rely on when they act on their recommendations, with room to help shape a young platform rather than maintain a mature one. This is a hybrid role. Responsibilities

Build and maintain their Python backend services: the APIs, the query layer that powers the decision surfaces, and the scheduled pipeline that refreshes the data behind them. Strengthen multi-tenant isolation so one brand’s data never touches another’s. Work on authentication, roles, and permissions, and keep the surrounding documentation accurate. Help own encryption for stored credentials and tokens, and our broader secrets and key-management approach.
