Position Overview

The City of Maple Ridge is seeking an energetic, service-oriented and community‑minded professional to support the delivery of high‑quality fitness and recreation programming. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about health, wellness and inclusive community recreation, and who enjoys working in a dynamic environment with instructors, volunteers, participants and staff. The Recreation Program Assistant supports the planning, scheduling, coordination and on‑site delivery of fitness and recreation programs, with an emphasis on group fitness, wellness, active living and community participation. The successful candidate will help ensure programs run safely, efficiently and to a high customer service standard.
