Job Overview

The Industrial Engineering Co‑Op Student will provide valuable experience and direct exposure to manufacturing operations in a high‑tech environment at the Oshawa Assembly Plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct labour, line balancing, layout and cost savings
  • Indirect labour, line balancing, layout and efficiency analysis
  • Special projects, labour savings, suggestion processing, and GMS workshops

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (3rd or 4th year) in Industrial Engineering
  • Available to work full‑time, 40 hours per week in Canada for a 4‑, 8‑, or 12‑month term starting September 2026
  • Willing to work in a plant environment and flexible with shift work, weekends, and overtime as needed
  • All students must be legally entitled to work in Canada and be enrolled in a co‑op or internship program that meets its eligibility requirements
