Department of Computer Science at Sacramento State is one of the longest-established and largest computer science programs in the CSU system.  Having educated computer professionals since 1969, our programs currently serve approximately 1600 major students. The Department also offers a variety of non-major courses to students who seek practical experience in the application of information technology, enabling individuals with a background in other areas to obtain the skills and knowledge necessary to enter or advance in computer-related industries.
