About the recipient

This role is to support a 30 year old female living in Beverley, who is a mum of four children. She is seeking two support workers to provide a total of 24 hours per week, including cover for one another.

The purpose of this support is to help alleviate unavoidable pressures around the home, particularly during times when tasks build up due to physical limitations. The individual values her independence and likes to take care of things herself; however, due to reduced physical ability and slow movement - particularly down the left side of her body - daily tasks can take longer and sometimes become overwhelming.

There is a risk of falls, which may temporarily increase her need for support, causing household duties to fall behind and accumulate. Support workers will work with her, not take over, to ensure that tasks are ...
