1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant


  • Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
  • Salary: £93 to £100 per day
  • Start Date: September 2026

    • We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Wisbech. This role involves supporting a child with additional needs, providing consistent one-on-one assistance to help them access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a mainstream classroom environment.

    Day-to-day of the role:


  • Provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, or additional learning needs).
  • Adapt learning activities to meet the child’s individual needs and support their educational and personal development.
  • Assist with emotional regulation and implement positive behaviour strategies.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets.
