1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant – Maternity Cover
Morpeth | Monday–Friday | 9:00am–3:00pm
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEMH school in Morpeth for a committed and resilient 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team on a maternity cover basis.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them engage positively with learning and school life.
The Role:
Providing 1:1 support to a pupil with SEMH needs
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Encouraging engagement with learning and social development
Building a consistent and trusting relationship with the pupil
Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff to meet individual needsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
