The Near North District School Board invites applications for the following permanent position commencing the 2026–2027 school year.

Position

French Immersion Grade 7/8

Required Teaching Qualifications

  • A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
  • A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Intermediate Qualifications
  • French as a Second Language Part 1

Position Criteria

  • Successful completion of the NNDSB French Competency Testing
  • Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
  • Demonstrated experience with Apple based software and Mobile devices (iPad/MacBook/iMac)
  • Evidence of understanding of varied learners with a focus on at-risk students
  • Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective
